In Cranberry Township, we are lucky enough to have a wide array of restaurants to satisfy most any palate. Whether you are in the mood for takeout or dining in, there are a few great places to try not far from The Haven at Cranberry Woods.

House of Chen

101 Brandt Drive, Cranberry Township

Chen’s has been serving the Cranberry Township community for more than 20 years with top-notch Chinese dining. There is a  peaceful patio with a koi pond and the main dining room is filled with tropical fish tanks.

Open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, the menu includes a variety of soups, appetizers, and an extensive variety of chicken, beef, pork, seafood, and veggie dishes. For lunch try the special shrimp, chicken, and scallop combo; for dinner try the Korean Kimchee with your choice of meat or asparagus.

Yama Sushi

515 Adams Shoppes, Mars

Yama Sushi offers a variety of Japanese tradition blended with some European themes, including a full sushi and sashimi menu. Open six days a week, Yama Sushi accommodates the single diner, to families, to banquets and parties.

Sushi appetizers include crab sticks, salmon roe, and yellowtail. Lunch specials include tempura and teriyaki, as well as udon and donburi. For dinner, we recommend the hibachi entrees, which include strip steak and shrimp, or chicken, and a seafood special.

Jimmy Wan’s

 1686 Route 228, Cranberry Township

The Cranberry Township location of Jimmy Wan’s is one of two, with the other being on Old Freeport Road in Pittsburg. These Pan-Asian restaurants are owned and managed by the Wan family. They offer fine dining, banquets, and off-site catering as well. They are open for lunch and dinner daily.

The dumplings here are absolutely delicious! They are available in gluten-free, as are other items on the menu. There is a nice variety of salads, sashimi, and sushi including Scottish salmon, and new-style sashimi with a choice of tuna, or salmon, lightly seared with jalapeno, tobiko, soy, sesame-wasabi oil, cilantro, and lime. Entrees include Peking duck, General Tso’s chicken, and tangerine-orange filet mignon.
